Preschool / Kindergarten

Preschool is a Montessori program.  It is recommended that a child attend preschool the same number of days as their age.  A 3 year old would go 3 days per week, a 4 year old would attend 4 days per week etc.  We do have a 5 days/wk preschool program for working parents.

Younger Elementary

Younger Elementary is a multi-age classroom of 1st - 3rd graders.  We do reading, writing, and Math in the mornings and do other subjects in the afternoons.  We learn keyboarding skills once a week and have a 1/2 hour recess and snack each morning.  Lunch is from 12:00 - 1:15 so we have lots of time to eat and play outdoors.

Upper Elementary

Upper Elementary is a multi-age classroom of 3-5 graders.  Third graders my either be Younger Elementary or Upper Elementary depending on where their parents want them.  5th graders may be Upper Elementary or may go to Middle School for some subjects also depending on where their parents want them.  All classes focus on reading, writing and math in the mornings.  All classes work on keyboarding skills.  Students start typing their own stories in 4th grade and do more power point and other computer oriented activities as they get older.

Middle School

Middle School is a multi-age group of 6-8th graders.  Occasionally a 5th grader may come into this group if their parents and teachers decide it is a good fit for them.  All classes focus on reading, writing and math in the mornings.  This group does keyboarding skills and works extensively with computers to do research and writing.

Home Schooling Programs

We are happy to offer our programs to our home schooling community. We will work with you to make an individualized program for your child. Fees are based on how many classes per week in a program your child attends. For example History classes are once/week while Math classes are up to 5 per week depending on which skills you would like to cover and which you would like us to cover. Please see Mrs. Sullivan for the fee schedule.
